Mascalzone IACC member celebrates 3 years today!

Mascalzone, one of Houston’s leading authentic Italian restaurants and pizzerias is celebrating its third anniversary tonight with a special concert by acclaimed Houston jazz singer Raquel Cepeda (below).

For nearly three years, this classic Italian casual has been serving authentic pastas, risottos, and pizzas paired with an all-Italian wine list and craft beer selection, not to mention a cocktail menu that features genuine Italian mixology.

But the thing that makes the restaurant such a favorite destination for Houstonians and Italians living in Houston is the fact that Italian is spoken at Mascalzone, as the owners Andrea and Rachel Magi like to say (you may know Andrea thanks to his stellar career in professional and Olympic boxing).

Nearly everyone who works there is Italian — including the chef and manager — and the entire staff takes great pride in serving food the way Italians dine in Italy.

Congratulations, Mascalzone, for three great years of bringing real Italian food (using authentic Italian products) to Houston, where the Italian community continues to grow!

Show starts at 7 p.m.
