On Tuesday of this week, Marco Sacco, one of Italy’s most acclaimed chefs, cooked for a sold-out crowd at Con-Temporary Space, Houston’s newest private event venue on North Loop West.
Chef Marco (whose Piccolo Lago restaurant currently holds 2 Michelin stars from the prestigious Michelin guide to the great restaurants of the world) dazzled guests with a spectacular menu that ranged from the traditional to the creative.

Guests were also thrilled by the breathtaking views from Andrea Giacomini’s new event venue, Con-Temporary Space. Mr. Giacomini’s friendship with Sacco stretches back years and he brought the Italian chef to Houston especially for the venue’s inaugural event.
But the unforgettable dinner wouldn’t have happened at all had it not been for Tony Vallone and the catering company that’s part of his namesake restaurant Tony’s, one of Houston’s most celebrated dining landmarks.
Chef Marco needed top-notch event planning and a world-class kitchen staff to execute his dishes. And the occasion called for premium dining room service. It was thanks to Mr. Vallone and his team that the chef was able to create such an unforgettable evening and culinary experience.
The dinner was the first in a series that Mr. Giacomini plans to organize in coming months. Stay tuned to the chamber’s Facebook for news of upcoming events.
