The Italian Sounding project: first victory in Germany

The court of Koln agrees with the Italian Sounding association and blocks two Egyptian companies that wanted to sell fake Italian Pasta in Germany. “This is an important result to protect authentic Made in Italy.”

On the label of the products it was written “Milano,” “San Remo,” “Italiano,” all of this accompanied by Italian flags. On the contrary, the Pasta exposed in two of the stands of the Anuga Food&Wine exhibition, had nothing to do with Italy. In fact those Pasta packages were produced by two Egyptian companies, then sold through Egypt and Dubai. Thanks to a lawsuit promoted by the Italian Sounding association, founded in February 2015 by Confagricoltura and Italian Chambers of commerce in Germany, these fake products won’t be sold in Germany.
