Born in Piacenza and a third-generation member of a family of entrepreneurs in the Oil & Gas sector, after earning a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Politecnico di Milano in 1980, he joined the family company, which designs and manufactures drilling plants and equipment. There, he held various roles before becoming Chief Executive Officer in 1989. During the same period, he also served as a Board Member of the Piacenza Industrial Association.
In 1996, he sold the family company to the Trevi Group and moved abroad, founding two companies in Brazil and Perù.
In 1998, at the request of the Trevi Group, he accepted the position of President and General Manager of Drillmec Americas, headquartered in Houston, Texas.
In 2011, he was awarded the title of Cavaliere della Repubblica – Star of Solidarity by President Giorgio Napolitano.
Since 2011, he has also served as President of the Italy-America Chamber of Commerce of Texas.
From 2020, following a managerial experience at Saipem Americas, he has been managing his own company, BPB Energy.
Over more than 40 years of professional activity, he has earned numerous international recognitions as a leader in the Oil & Gas sector, speaking at various conferences and publishing several articles in industry journals.
