On Monday and Tuesday, May 12–13, 2025, the Italy-America Chamber of Commerce of Texas hosted a group of visiting Italian winemakers and grape growers for a series of tastings and meetings one-on-one with Houston-based trade members.
It was a great opportunity to learn more about four different winemaking regions in Italy — Veneto, Piedmont, and Tuscany. The events gave local wine distributors the chance to meet with potential suppliers.
The group of producers was organized and led by Sebastiano Bazzano, an Italian export consultant and fine wine hunter, whose company, B.Connected, helps Italian wineries find the right importer in countries around the world. A longtime partner of the IACC, Sebastiano also works with importers and their suppliers to facilitate logistics once an order has been placed for his clients’ wines.
The IACC was very pleased to host the following producers:
Rossello vini (Piedmont)
Coldemar (Veneto)
Ornella Bellia (Veneto)
Diadema Winery (Toscana)
B.Connected also organized a Happy Hour event to meet & greet our community on Tuesday, May 13 at the Italian restaurant Roma in Houston from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
