The Italy-America Chamber of Commerce of Texas supported the international promotion of Italy’s wine excellence through an initiative commissioned by the Regions of Umbria and Campania. At the request of the two regions, IACC Texas selected a group of 11 qualified U.S. operators to participate in an incoming program dedicated to wine tasting and commercial development.
The initiative aimed to strengthen the visibility of wineries from Umbria and Campania in the American market, offering importers, distributors, sommeliers, and industry buyers the opportunity to experience firsthand the quality, diversity, and winemaking traditions of these two important Italian regions. Through guided tastings, B2B meetings, and visits to local producers, participants were able to gain deeper insight into the unique characteristics of Umbria and Campania’s terroirs.
By leveraging its consolidated network and long-standing experience in promoting Italian excellence abroad, IACC Texas continued to play a strategic role in facilitating dialogue between Italian producers and U.S. market operators. This collaboration with the Regions of Umbria and Campania reaffirmed the Chamber’s commitment to supporting the internationalization of the Italian wine sector and fostering meaningful commercial exchanges.
