IACC Texas is honored to convene the Italian business community in Texas for a meaningful meeting with Italy’s Ambassador to the United States, Marco Peronaci and U.S. Ambassador to Italy, Tilman Fertitta —an occasion that reinforced the strength and depth of the Italy–U.S. partnership.

The atmosphere was truly outstanding: a room full of energy, commitment, and a shared desire to collaborate. Italian companies operating in Texas had the opportunity to introduce themselves, share their experiences, and engage directly with both Ambassadors through a dynamic Q&A. The discussion addressed key issues shaping today’s international business environment, including challenges related to tariffs, evolving regulatory frameworks around artificial intelligence, and the impact of competition policies—highlighting how essential institutional support is for companies navigating an increasingly complex global landscape.

A special thank you to Mauro Lorenzini, General Consul of Italy in Houston for making this moment possible and for supporting initiatives that strengthen the bridge between Italy and Texas.

Together, we continue building opportunities for Italian businesses and fostering strong transatlantic connections.
