The IACC Texas was pleased to welcome three wineries from Rome on Tuesday, October 10 at Vinology in Houston.
The wines grown in the volcanic soils of the farmland and hills surrounding the capital had been favorites of Popes for centuries.
However, they had garnered little attention in the U.S., where wine professionals were just beginning to appreciate their depth, nuance, and longevity.
The event featured products by Latium wineries Parvusager, Principe Pallavicini, and Cantine Silvestri.
We hoped our guests enjoyed what proved to be an extraordinary tasting. Our resident wine educator, Jeremy Parzen, was on hand to guide attendees through the wines.
