This week the Italy-America Chamber of Commerce had the pleasure to host three great Italian wineries from Campania: Il Poggio Vini, Cantina di Solopaca, La Guardiense.
With the support of Food and Vine Time Productions these three companies had the opportunity to participate in two events of the prestigious Wine and Food Week: the B2B tasting on Monday at Amalfi and “It’s a Guy Thing” event on Tuesday.
On Monday at the Italian restaurant Amalfi more than 40 wine importers and distributors coming from all over Texas had the great chance to taste these amazing wines from Campania that are not yet available on the U.S. market while enjoying a rich buffet of Italian food offered by the restaurant.
On Tuesday at the suggestive setting of the Mercedes Benz of the Woodlands, the three wineries were present with a dedicated stand, where all the visitors tried for their first time all the wines from Sannio region.
On Tuesday morning they had also a short display on television. Our executive director Alessia Paolicchi was interviewed by Fox 26 Houston where she presented the Campanian wines together with some other Italian traditional products explaining the aims of the Extraordinary Italian Taste campaign in defense of the real “Made in Italy”.
