The 7th edition of the GIS (October 3-5, 2019) counts over 360 confirmed exhibitors, a number which has grown from last year's edition, and is expected to welcome over 11,000 qualified visitors this year.
The event focuses on the users of cranes, aerial platforms, industrial and port handling equipment and heavy transport vehicles and features a rich program of conferences and workshops held collaterally to GIS, relating to issues of port and intermodal logistics, periodic inspection of machines and equipment, and the safety of workers.
Additionally, this year GIS will host the first edition of AGV EXPO (Automatic Guided Vehicles), in Pavilion 3 of the PiacenzaExpo exhibition center and in the large outdoor area facing it.
During GIS 2019, 3 gala dinners will take place in the beautiful castle of Palazzo Gotico in Piacenza. Palazzo Gotico is location of great prestige, also from the historical and cultural point of view, where - among the scents of local cuisine and fine wines of the province - participants of the Piacenza exhibition will have the opportunity to network in a convivial and relaxed atmosphere.
