Oil and gas markets internationally are looking forwards to the coming year of events, 3 of them being already the biggest in Europe, hosted in Piacenza, Italy. These four highly specialized events are dedicated to advancements in technology for oil, gas, and construction industries, and promoting collaboration between foreign and domestic partners.

GIS - The Lifting, Industrial & Port Handling, and Heavy Transport Show
3rd-5th October 2019
The 7th edition of the GIS counts over 360 confirmed exhibitors, a number which has grown from last year's edition, and is expected to welcome over 11.000 qualified visitors this year.
The event focuses on the users of cranes, aerial platforms, industrial and port handling equipment and heavy transport vehicles and features a rich program of conferences and workshops held collaterally to GIS, relating to issues of port and intermodal logistics, periodic inspection of machines and equipment, and the safety of workers.
Additionally, this year GIS will host the first edition of AGV EXPO (Automatic Guided Vehicles), more precisely in Pavilion 3 of the PiacenzaExpo exhibition center and in the large outdoor area facing it.
During GIS 2019, 3 gala dinners will take place in the beautiful castle of Palazzo Gotico in Piacenza. Palazzo Gotico is location of great prestige, also from the historical and cultural point of view, where - among the scents of local cuisine and fine wines of the province - participants of the Piacenza exhibition will have the opportunity to network in a convivial and relaxed atmosphere.

GEOFLUID - The International Trade Show for Well Drilling and Soil Investigation Drilling

GEOFLUID 2018 recorded the participation of 11,206 qualified visitors, including 2,891 foreign operators from 86 countries, making it the most authoritative international showcase and conference for the industry. 287 direct exhibitors were presented on 33,000 square meters of exhibition space.
GEOFLUID is in fact recognized as the most specialized international exhibition related to underground fluids drilling, exploration, extraction and conveying, ground and geotechnical investigation, special foundations and piling, No-Dig and tunnel building technologies, geotechnical engineering and environmental protection.
GIC - Italian Concrete Days
29th-31st October 2019
GIC, which received 245 exhibitors last year and the support of 68 foreign and Italian trade associations and institutions, was a great success among Italian and international concrete industry operators.
This year’s third edition of the conference has expanded to address 3 thematic areas which will interest qualified operators in Italy and abroad.
• CONPAVITEXPO: dedicated to machines, technologies, and products for concrete flooring, screeds, and their maintenance.
• IDREXPO: dedicated to machinery, equipment, and technologies for the demolition, cutting, coring, deconstruction of reinforced concrete structures.
• AGGRETEXPO: dedicated to the extraction, processing, transport, and recycling of aggregates.
Furthermore, there will be a rich program of conferences and workshops held collaterally to GIC, during the 3 opening days of the Piacenza exhibition, to which all visitors are invited.
During GIC 2020, the ICTA-Italian Concrete Technology Awards gala dinner, recognizing the expert achievements of Italian companies and professionals, will take place in a location of great prestige in Piacenza.
