The Wine Hunter Exclusive Tasting is presented by #TrueItalianTaste, an Italian government campaign aimed “to inform consumers and foreign food operators about certified Italian products, the unique features of which cannot be reproduced except in their territories of origin, so counteracting the phenomenon of ‘Italian sounding’ products and striving to strengthen the presence of authentic Italian agrofood in foreign markets.”
As Houston continues to grow and make its mark as one of the top destinations for fine wine in the U.S., more and more leading Italian winemakers are coming here to introduce their wines to an expanding field of wine lovers and wine trade professionals, including some of the top sommeliers in the country.
On June 5, the Italy-America Chamber of Commerce Texas will be hosting an exclusive tasting of iconic Italian wines at the Omni Riverway, one of city’s most luxurious hotels and resorts.
Trade members and media are encouraged to attend: Some of these wines have never been shown in Houston before.
WHEN: Monday, June 5
TIME: 12-5 p.m.
