5 finalists will compete for a trip to Italy.
Winner to be announced May 20 at
“The Authentic Italian Table:
A Celebration of Pasta”
an Italian food and wine fair featuring
20 of Houston’s top restaurants.
Presented by the Italy-America Chamber of Commerce Texas (IACC) and by True Italian Taste, an Italian Trade Commission campaign to promote awareness of authentic Italian food products and foodways.
Contestants are be required to publish a blog post about “pasta and its legacy as a world food.” Deadline for publication of the blog post is Monday, April 30.
On Monday, May 7, the panel will announce the finalists: readers will then have the opportunity to vote for their favorite finalist between May 7 and May 14.
The winner will be announced on the day of the event (May 20).
All finalists will receive 2 free tickets to the May 20 event ($70 value). And the winner will receive a free IACC-sponsored trip to Italy.
