One of Houston’s leading food writers and editors was in attendance last week for the Delivery Italiano event at the Studio Snaidero showroom on Kirby in Houston.
We can’t say who she was (because we don’t kiss and tell). But she was overheard saying that the Italy-America Chamber events are always so much fun. She doesn’t attend many gatherings like this, she pointed out, but when it comes to the IACC, the events are always a cut above.
And honestly, how could you go wrong?
Last week’s get-together featured genuine food products from Delivery Italiano, an online Italian food concierge that provides its users with recipes and all the ingredients they need to create a great Italian meal.
The recipes are curated by celebrity chef Luca Manfé (below), winner of Master Chef Season 4 and one of the most in-demand food personalities in the U.S. today (and a super nice guy, btw).
Chef Luca executed his dishes for the event on a gorgeous Snaidero stovetop, one of the showroom’s flagship models.
All in all, this event was one of the best examples of the IACC fulfilling its mission: Connecting Italian businesses and trade operators, over a meal prepared with genuine Italian food products.
And the icing on the cake, so to speak? Chef Luca’s risotto, below, prepared with ingredients from Delivery Italiano on a Snaidero stovetop. It doesn’t get any better than that!
