Our member Amalfi Ristorante in Houston is running a campaign to raise donations for victims of the August earthquake in Central Italy.
At Amalfi Ristorante Italiano e Bar, chef and owner Giancarlo Ferrara (above) will be hosting an “Amatriciana Evening” benefiting earthquake victims on Monday, September 12. For every dish of “classic bucatini all’amatriciana” served, the restaurant will be donating 50 percent of the $20 cost. It will also be donating proceeds from the sale of traditional Abruzzo wines (713-532-2201).
