Congratulations to Roberto Crescini of Fresco Cafè Italiano (above, far right), winner of the Pasta Festival competition on Sunday!
He took home the top prize with his entry of Fusilli with Lamb Ragù.
Justin Santellana of Nick’s Fish Dive & Oyster Bar was the runner up with his seafood lasagne.
And Giancarlo Ferrara of Amalfi was the second runner up with his paccheri filled with ricotta cheese and braised veal and topped with black summer truffles.
All things considered, everyone was a winner, especially the guests who enjoyed all of this wonderful pasta!
This event was presented by the Italy-America Chamber of Commerce Texas (IACC) in conjunction with True Italian Taste, an Italian Trade Commission campaign to promote awareness of authentic Italian food products and foodways.
