Paulie’s in Westheimer is one of Houston’s legacy Italian eateries, owned and run by a second-generation Italian-American family.
It’s also one of Houston’s most popular dining destination, often with a line of people outside waiting for the chance to taste the restaurant’s homey Italian and Italian-American classics.
Current owner Paul Petronella “grew up in the restaurant business – covered, he says, with the smell of garlic, tomato sauce and smoke,” wrote the editors of the Houston Chronicle earlier this year.
Petronella is just one of the amazing Italian restaurateurs who will be showcasing their favorite pastas this year at the 2nd Annual Authentic Italian Table/Houston Pasta Festival May 19.
