In less than two weeks, the Italy-America Chamber of Commerce Texas will be presenting the fifth annual Taste of Italy festival, the largest food and wine fair in the U.S. devoted exclusively to Italian foodways.
One of the presenters we’re the most excited about this year is Francesco Lupo aka the “Prosciutto Whisperer.”
Francesco, official ambassador of the Prosciutto di Parma consortium, will be leading a seminar on how to properly slice and serve Prosciutto di Parma and how to use “the whole leg.”
(Check out the Whole Leg website and educational portal here.)
Unfortunately, Francesco’s seminar is already sold out (with waiting list). But he will also be serving and talking about Prosciutto di Parma throughout the day at the Taste of Italy Grand Tasting (11 a.m. – 5 p.m.; see details and registration link below).
Francesco is just one of the many Italian food and wine experts who will be joining us for what is sure to be our best event ever.
And we’ll also be joined but some of the leading food and wine writers and authorities in Houston and the U.S. today. See the seminar descriptions below for more info.
Taste of Italy represents a wonderful opportunity to interact with some of the best and brightest people working in Italy food and wine today — on both sides of the Atlantic!
We hope to see you there! Buon appetito! E buona fiera!
