We are pleased to announce that the Italian Cultural and Community Center of Houston will be presenting one of its signature classes for kids, “La Piccola Cucina” (“The Tiny Kitchen”) at this year’s Authentic Italian Table/Houston Pasta Festival, Sunday, May 19 at the Bayou City Events Center.
Children aged 3-10 will get an Italian language lesson while filling ravioli and cutting them into classic Italian filled-pasta shapes.
The Italian Cultural & Community Center celebrates Italian culture and heritage, offering a wide range of events throughout the year, including cooking classes, wine tastings, lectures, and screenings.
The event is underwritten by the Italian government’s True Italian Taste campaign, which promotes awareness of authentic Italian food and wine products and authentic Italian foodways.
