It’s our great pleasure to share the news that IACC member Giorgio “George” Caflisch was recently certified by the Vinitaly International Academy (VIA) as one of fewer than 200 Italian Wine Ambassadors worldwide.
“Our mission is to explain and broadcast to the wine and food industry and the public,” said Giorgio, “the diversity and excellence of Italian grape varietals and wine growing regions.”

Vinitaly International Academy is the world’s leading resource for Italian wine education and the ambassador certification process is as intensive as it is challenging and demanding.
