Vinitaly 2018: IACC sponsored 28 buyers for this year’s fair

The primary mission of the Italy-America Chamber of Commerce is to foster business ties between the two countries. And there’s no better way to fulfill the association’s mandate than by bringing American buyers directly to Italy.

Taking American professionals to one of Italy’s major trade fairs only sweetens the deal!

This year, the IACC sponsored 28 American wine buyers at Vinitaly, the Italian wine industry’s annual trade show in Verona.

Not only was their travel, lodging, and meals paid for, but they also were invited to take part in a series of exclusive tastings and events, including one of the fair’s marquee tastings, Opera Wine, where the editors of Wine Spectator magazine present their list of Italy’s “Top 100 Wines.”

If you are a qualified wine buyer and are interested in attending next year’s gathering, please let us know by contacting IACC Deputy Director for Texas, Maurizio Gamberucci (email).
