The virtual tasting dinner was an immersive meal featuring four courses of traditional Italian dishes made with authentic ingredients, prepared by three of Houston's top Italian chefs; Giancarlo Ferrara (Amalfi), Angelo Cuppone (ROMA), and Roberto Crescini (Fresco Café Italiano). The meal was paired with two fantastic bottle of wine, a Rosso di Montalcino DOC by Abbadia Ardenga (importer Alarich Wines - Fouad Alameddin) and a Prosecco Superiore di Valdobbiadene DOCG by Stefano Farina.
Attended via Zoom by Houston's premier wine and food media as well as the Consul General of Italy in Houston. The tasting dinner was a roaring success with flowing wine, fantastic food, and even better company.
The Chamber is grateful for the participation and moderation provided by long-time friend Jeremy Parzen, Italian food and wine historian.
As well, the Chamber greatly thanks OrangeCrate for their terrific service and delivery all across Houston.
