IACC welcomes new member Killer Vino.

The Italy-America Chamber of Commerce Texas is pleased to welcome new IACC member Rob May, owner of Killer Vino, a Houston-based high-end wine shop and event space in Hunter’s Creek Village (on the city’s westside).

Rob had been working in premium goods retail and wholesale for many years and already had an interest in fine wine when an unexpected stay in Italy gave him the opportunity to taste a number of top wines.

After that experience, he likes to say, his “spiritual ‘wine self’ resides in Italy.”

Today, his shop is one of the premier resources in Houston for blue chip Italian wines like Sassicaia, Ornellaia, and Tignanello.

His gorgeous, elegant tasting room, lined with bottles from some of Italy’s most coveted appellations, also hosts some of his other interests, like his offerings of fine and rare Italian stemware and artisanal Italian cutlery, another one of his major passions.

As a certified wine educator (via the internationally renowned Society of Wine Educators), Rob also sources a wide range of wines for his clients and tailors his selections to offer them wines for nearly any occasion. Whether fresh, quaffable Prosecco for a weekday dinner with friends or a fine Super Tuscan or Barolo for a special evening, he takes care of all of his clients’ wine needs.

Please visit Rob’s Killer Vino site to sign up for his e-letter offers and upcoming events. The IACC looks forward to hosting events in his beautiful westside space!
